What is a Sea Hawker and a History of the Booster Club

So what is a Sea Hawker anyway?

Sea Hawkers – (SEE hawk-erz) n. pl. are the most passionate, hardcore, devoted, cheer-crazy, raisin’ the roof, no life during football season havin’ fans on earth!!!

Our purpose is to have fun while supporting the Seahawks players and organization and help support various local charities. We are a volunteer organization run by and for Seahawks fans – fans like you!

We’d like you to consider joining a Sea Hawkers chapter in your area or form your own chapter. Annual dues are $15.00 for individuals and $25.00 for families of two or more.

Being a member has its privileges. You'll have a chance to participate in exclusive raffles, drawings, auctions, and events!

Anyone is welcome to watch games with fellow 12s in the following areas:

• Billings: The Red Door Lounge , 3875 Grand Ave. (crowd gathers in private room on east side)
• Great Falls: Halftime Sports Bar, 1101 NW Bypass
• Kalispell: Games N Taps, 2400 Hwy 93S
• Libby:  Pastime, 216 Mineral Ave
• Missoula: The Still Room,1609 West Broadway
• Bozeman: TBD
• Browning: TBD

Q: Do I have to join Sea Hawkers Booster Club to watch games with your group?

A: Definitely not. If you’re a Seattle Seahawks fan, you’re welcome! There are benefits available only to members during game days (drink specials and some raffle drawings) but you can definitely come watch without being a member. We welcome all Seahawks fans – local or from out of town.

Q: Are all the Seahawks watch parties at the same spot?

A: Yes. We watch all games at a number of locations across Montana (current locations listed above). Game Day Watch locations make sure we are well taken care of on game days.

Q: Why should I come to these locations to watch a game that’s broadcast on network TV?

A: Watching at home is fun, but watching with fellow 12s can’t be beat. This fan said it all: “It is a privilege to go to a bar in Montana to watch a Seattle Seahawks game and feel like I’m back home in the Great Pacific Northwest.” Not to mention getting Seahawks games on TV in Montana can be fickle. We have worked with these establishments to ensure that ALL Seahawks games will be shown.

Q: What kind of benefits do I get for being a Booster Club member?

A: Booster Club members get access to special prize drawings on every game day, access to on-site privileges for games at Century Link field, invitations to members-only social events, and participate in charitable activities with the club. Q: Are people under 21 allowed?

Yes. The locations where we gather to watch games welcome supervised kids and adults under 21 years of age. The Montana Sea Hawkers is a family oriented organization!

We also have a very active Facebook group just for Seattle Seahawks fans in Montana. It is a private group (keeps out the people just trying to sell stuff and post spam) but everyone who lives in Montana, is from the Seattle area, or has a profile on Facebook that looks legitimate is approved to join. Ask your question there, or if you’d prefer to keep it private you can contact us here and we’ll answer any questions you have by email.
